Purpose of sep test

Reducing the gap between anode and cathode. In zero gap technology, both anode and cathode surfaces are in contact with membrane. i.e electrode gap equals to membrane thickness. Achieving uniform current distribution the orginal anode and cathode mesh are not fully flat; this is creating some non-uniformity in the current distribution. The elastic element can adjust its thickness following meshes profile, so the gap between anode and cathode is kept uniform.

ü    Cathode screen which is used as current collector

üA fine cathode screen shifts up to gently touch the membrane

ü In between them, durable elastic element is inserted, to transport electrons by contact from the current collector to the fine cathode screen, and capable of compensating for mechanical tolerances which no harm for the membrane.

The following tests will be conducted by our internal QA dept & necessary certificates wiil be produced

vcoating thickness by volumentric method

vcoating peel-off test by scotch tape testing.

vSep value test before & after recoating.

vPlanarity as per the OEM standards, use precision straight edge and hand feel test at the beginning and later will go for indicator gauge for planetary test.
